  1. Square Peg

I have a very soft spot for iconoclastic crazies. I know, that can be tiresome, or challenging. But is this human-dominated world we are in really so well designed and functional that it can’t stand a critique or overhaul? Somebody has to call out the emperor is naked! Thank god for people willing to do that, even if it’s based on neurotic personality crap.

Lyrics

Square peg in a round hole
(You) Don’t fit the mold
(You) Don’t go with the main flow
(But) You want to know
“Where do I belong?” (2x)
A club for you to join
(That’s) singing your heart song

You don’t fit in square-peg man
You don’t live the standard plan
Square peg, round hole, where do you belong?

You're such an idealist
Stars in your eyes
Don't hang with the realists
You don't compromise
Where do you belong (2x)
A club for you to join
(That’s) singing your heart song

You don’t fit in square-peg man
You don’t live the standard plan
Square peg, round hole, where do you belong?

It’s not for show
Or easy cash
No status quo
Or empty flash
Song fills the air
Art fills the street
No us and them
No must compete
That’s where you belong (2x)
Square peg, round hole, that’s where you belong!

So this is your tribe now
Your merry band
Iconoclastic crazies
You oughta rule the land.
That’s where you belong (2x)
A club for you to join
Singing your heart song

You don’t fit in square-peg man
You don’t live the standard plan
Square peg, round hole, where do you belong?
Square peg, round hole, where do you belong?
